New .eu reports examine domain industry

Brussels, 28 June 2010 - Two new studies, that take a look at particular aspects of the domain-name environment, are now available. The reports, produced by EURid as the first in a series named .eu Insights, examine:

• How websites have been categorised in certain top-level domains, including .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .mobi, .pro and .eu.
• How a top-level domain’s brand image and its registry’s customer service levels influence the popularity of that top-level domain amongst customers.

EURid has produced the reports in cooperation with industry experts and sector leaders. Each report offers a unique perspective on the domain-name industry.
