Brussels, 27 May 2010 - European SMEs that have established their online presence using a .eu domain name will be celebrated on Wednesday, 2 June, at a dinner hosted by MEP Malcolm Harbour at the European Parliament.
Attendees will include European Commissioner Vice-President for the Digital Agenda Neelie Kroes, also keynote speaker at the event, members of the European Parliament and other EU institutions, as well as representatives of Member States’ delegations.
Marc van Wesemael, EURid’s General Manager, will also be present along with representatives from five SMEs based in Germany Hungary, Ireland, Latvia and the Netherlands. The representatives will show, by way of video presentations, how their businesses have benefited from having a European presence on the Internet.
